H.E. Mr. Maung Maung Lynn attended “the Ambassadors Science Conference 2017: Science in Israel – The Technology of Tomorrow” which was held on on 16th March 2017. The Conference was organized by the Ministry of Science, Technology and Space of the State of Israel at the Lawrence Gallery in Tel-Aviv-Yafo. It was learnt that the conference was attended by Ambassadors and diplomats from foreign embassies in Tel Aviv.

Myanmar Ambassador Pays Courtesy Call on Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs

Myanmar Ambassador H.E. Mr. Maung Maung Lynn paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mrs. Tzipi Hotovely, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel at the Knesset on 15th March 2017. The Ambassador briefly explained the background of contemporary Myanmar and introduced the Myanmar traditional arts and culture. He also presented the Myanmar traditional souvenir as a token of friendship. There had been a cordial atmosphere during the Call which enhanced the friendship both personally and officially.

Myanmar Ambassador takes part in the tour to the Ammunition Hill

On 14th March 2017, H.E. Mr. Maung Maung Lynn, Myanmar Ambassador to the State of Israel participated in the tour to the Ammunition Hill which is national heritage and memorial site in Jerusalem. The tour was organized by H.E. Mrs. Tzipi Hotovely, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Israel. It was learnt that Ambassadors from Algeria and Sri Lanka also joined the tour.

H. E. U Maung Maung Lynn, Myanmar Ambassador to the State of Israel, attended the Lunch for the Asia-Pacific Ambassadors Group hosted by the Japanese Ambassador, H. E. Mr. Koji Tomita at his Residence on 9th February 2017. The Guest of Honour at the event was Mrs. Tzipi Livni, Co-leader of the Zionist Union Party in Israel. She is the Former Minister of Foreign Affairs. She served as Acting Prime Minister, Minister of Justice and Chief Negotiator in the peace process negotiations with the Palestinians in 2008 and 2013. Those presented at the Lunch were Ambassadors from Australia, China, India, Republic of Korea, Myanmar, the Philippines, Vietnam and CDA of Thailand.
