H.E. Mr. Maung Maugn Lynn, Myanmar Ambassador to Israel, attended the Graduation Ceremony of the On-Job Agricultural Training Course of 2016-2017, held in the morning of 13 June 2017 at Golda Hall of Kibbutz Revivim of Ramat Negev. This training programme was conducted at the Ramat Negev International Training Centre for Advanced Agriculture under the aegis of Israel’s Agency for International Development Cooperation (MASHAV).

On the occasion, Myanmar Ambassador delivered a speech. So did the Nepalese Ambassador and a representative from the Vietnamese Embassy.

The students from Nepal, Myanmar and Vietnam attened the Course and among them are a total of 99 Myanmar students. Out of all Myanmar students, 6 have passed with high honour whereas 16 have achieved Honour Certificates.

It is an 11-month on-job training course, annually organized by MASHAV and the Ramat Negev International Training Centre for Advanced Agriculture.

Likewise, a similar course was conducted at Arava International Centre for Agricultural Training (AICAT) and the Graduation Ceremony of the On-Job Agricultural Training Course of 2016-2017 was held on 15 June 2017 at at 5:30 p.m. at the Centre, situated in Sapir.

The students from Cambodia, East Timor, Ethiopia, Indonesia, Israel, Kenya, Lao PDR, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand and Vietnam attened the Course and among them are a total of 98 Myanmar students. Out of all Myanmar students, 5 achieved Honoured Certificates.

Two officials from the Myanmar Embassy in Tel Aviv, Mr. Thet Win, Minister Counsellor, and Ms. Nwe Ni Aye, Second Secretary, attended the Graduation Ceremony and the former delivered a speech on the occasion.
