Myanmar Ambassador H.E. Mr. Maung Maung Lynn and fellow Heads of Missions seen at Yom Hashoah Memorial Event Hosted by MK Mr.Yair Lapid

Myanmar Ambassador H.E. Mr. Maung Maung Lynn attended Yom Hashoah Memorial Event hosted by MK Mr.Yair Lapid, Leader of Yesh Atid Party, and his wife at his home in Tel Aviv on 22 April 2017. They hosted 30 diplomats for Holocaust Remembrance Day. During the event, he explained and retold the touching story of his father, the late Justice Minister Yosef (Tommy) Lapid, who was a child survivor of the Holocaust.
It is learnt that the event took place in accordance with the framework of Zikaron BaSalon, which a seven-year-old initiative to encourage survivors and their family members to tell their stories of the Holocaust at their homes. This is the first of its kind that such event is hosted for the members of the diplomatic corps.
Those attended the event were, among others, Heads of Missions from embassies of Austria, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Myanmar, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland.
