H.E. Mr. Maung Maung Lynn, Ambassador of Myanmar to the State of Israel, joined the Gaza Border Tour along with other ambassadors/ Head of Missions and diplomats on 25 October 2016. The trip was organized by H.E. Mr. Yair Lapid, Chairman, Yesh Atid Party and Member of Knesset . During the tour, the diplomats were greeted by responsible regional officials such as Mr. Alon Schuster, Mayorof Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council, Mr. Gadi Yarkoni, Mayor of Eshkol Regional Council, Mr. Shlomo Tsaban, Manager of Erez terminal, Mr. Alon Davidi – Mayor of Sderot, Mr. Tamir Idan, Mayor of Regional Council of Sdot Negev. The tour gave an opportunity to get insight of the areas near the Gaza Border International Territory and Erez Crossing.
H.E. Mr. Yair Lapid, Chairman, Yesh Atid Party led the participants and they were accompanied by members of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee.
